Customer Reviews

Some of the positive reviews are enumerated below:

bought a bunch of these when I was too busy to be cooking and really not eating well. Soon after I found out I was prediabetic (go figure) and had to start cutting carbs. Whereas these are not necessarily low-carb I was determined to make them work in my diet. I figure out how to make a delicious morning breakfast with the shakes by using a 3rd  of a can of full-fat coconut milk and these shakes as flavoring. I use about half a scoop to one full scoop per serving and it flavors it nicely- thicken it with a nice pinch of chia seeds and you’ve got breakfast pudding! Easy. Affordable. Tasty. It may be the only thing keeping me on this diet. It’s as close to a morning smoothie as I can get. (Mixing strawberry and banana is particularly good!) No other shake brand has as many flavors for the price, so Jimmy Joy is a life saver (literally?)?

“Overall I liked the flavors, except for Neutral. The Neutral smelled strongly of oats and that carried through to a very strong flavor that was almost sour, not even the flavored stevia that I normally use with Soylent would cover it. The rest of the flavors were good and covered the oatiness, especially the Coffee.

The powder mixes well but separates rather quickly. I usually make an entire days worth, so this separation was really apparent. Though with it mixing as well as it does (no lumpiness at all), making one meal at a time is pretty easy.

The shakes are more watery than what I am used to, and it also has a very grainy texture from both the oats and possibly the flaxseed.

I did not use Plenny Shake for enough consecutive days to be sure, but I don’t believe that it leaves me feeling as sated as the Soylent powder that I normally use.

I could definitely switch to this product if my current powdered food were to become unavailable.”

“Nice to handle. But more importantly, it tastes and makes you full. I have tested it the last few weeks with regard to my sporting activities. As a mountaineer, I was interested in whether I can use it during my training or on long tours. And I have to say, it goes down very well, it’s not too sweet, so it will still tastes good after several days

, and it’s good to eat while drinking automatically enough. I will continue to test it on my first tours, which means that it will be on road bike bikepacking tours and 4000m ascents in the Alps. Maybe I also write a test article for OUTSIDEstories, where I work as a productscout. What I do not quite fit, however, is the size of the pack. As a 78 kg and 187 cm tall dude I would probably need 1.5 packs a day to not have to eat anything else. “

Some of the negative reviews for the product are:

Mixed as guided. It was disgusting! Very powdery – could barely stomach it. I’ve now got £50.00 worth of powder to put in the bin. Yay
